Composite Pipe Repair Products

Resimac composite repair systems can be used for a wide range of industrial repairs such as pipe encapsulation, sealing leaking tank seams, and pipe flanges. The products can be applied to steel, concrete, GRP, or plastic surfaces and are tolerant of less than ideal surface preparation. Our range of composite repair materials can be used for emergency repairs to leaking pipes or as part of planned maintenance regimes to give long-term asset protection. Once cured the products are capable of resisting 300psi pressure and temperatures up to 150°C/302°F.

108 Pipe Repair Tape 100mm x 3.6m

Resimac’s 108 Pipe Repair Tape is a high-performance, rapid-curing, moisture-activated repair bandage specifically developed for the repair of leaking pipes.  Works best with systems operating up to 218psi with a maximum operating temperature of 120C.​ The tape is manufactured from woven polyester fabric which is impregnated with a polyurethane resin that is activated by water. 108 Pipe Repair Tape should soak in water prior to being applied. Once saturated with water, the tape wraps around pipe surfaces to seal leaks caused by corrosion and erosion.

301 Epoxy Resin & Hardender

Resimac’s 301 Epoxy Resin & Hardener can be applied to manually prepared surfaces to create a Fiberglass (GRP) layer around the entire circumference of leaking pipe surfaces. By incorporating layers of high-strength woven glass fiber the pipe repair system is proven to give 10 years + of protection to damaged, leaking, or porous pipe surfaces. Typically, the composite wrap system can be applied to pipe diameters ranging from 1″-50″ and once cured can resist 302℉/ 150℃ temperatures and pressures of 300psi.

302 Epoxy Repair Cement

Resimac’s 302 Epoxy Repair Cement is a high build solvent-free epoxy paste that has been designed to be applied to manually or mechanically abraded surfaces and is tolerant of low-level surface contamination. This product can be applied by trowel to large surfaces area to fill any imperfections, cracks, or pitting. Once cured it can be overcoated with any solvent-free or solvent-based coating.
