Liquid Insulation Composites

Resimac Liquid Insulation Composite coatings are based on a combination of innovative fillers bound in a 100% solids epoxy resin. Our coatings are designed to reduce heat transfer from underlying metallic surfaces and thereby reduce heat loss and the risk of burns through personal contact. In addition the coatings provide long term corrosion protection for metallic surfaces and reduce the potential for condensation on cold pipework.

560 Thermal Barrier XF

Resimac’s 560 Thermal Barrier XF is a two-component 100% solid epoxy coating designed to be applied to metallic substrates with a surface temperature ranging from 2℃ to 140℃. Once cured the product will reduce the potential for condensation on cold surfaces and make hot surfaces safe to touch in line with ASTM Standard C-155.

Apply to hot surfaces 50℃ – 140℃
Reduce surface touch temperatures by 60℃
Reduces heat loss on un-insulated systems
Insulates surfaces 140℃ or below once cured
Applied by brush, roller, or standard airless spray
Eradicates burns/ scalds caused by hot surfaces

561 Thermal Barrier

Resimac’s 561 Thermal Barrier Activator is a two-component 100% solid epoxy coating designed to be applied to metallic substrates with a surface temperature ranging from 176℉ to 284℉ (80℃ to 140℃). Once cured the products will reduce the potential for condensation on cold surfaces and make hot surfaces safe to touch in line with ASTM Standard C-155.
